Bible - We will learn about Samuel.

DOL -   We will learn when to use "can" and "may".  Our DOL test is Friday.

History -   We will learn about George Washington, drill the first 11 states, and take a quiz Friday.  We will start our study cards Wednesday.

Reading - This week we will read from  Paths to Follow.  We will read and answer comprehension questions about "Dog to Be Proud Of" and "Don't Say It". 

Language - We will learn the proper use of may and can. 

Spelling - Welcome spelling list #19.  Our test is Thursday.  Don't forget to use our Spelling City.com website.  You can print off lots of neat pages or take practice spelling tests at the site.

Vocabulary - Along with our A Beka Spelling we added Vocabulary for Achievement Curriculum. Students will easily transition from third grade to fourth grade with the vocabulary skills and strategies needed for reading comprehension and writing.

Science - This week we will review chapter 6, make test note cards, and take a big test Wednesday.

Arithmetic -   This week we will practice using eight as a divisor, place value, story problems with multiple steps, and introduce problems with parentheses.  Our math test is Wednesday.
